00'S CHRISTMAS BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH

Very funny evening. However, they did double book our booking and took a little while to get us seated

Worst bottomless brunch ever! Before I advise what happened, this was booked as a family occasion for a joint 21st, 30th and Christmas get together with family as we haven’t seen each other for a year. We arrived at the Shoreditch venue at 2.50pm on Saturday to be greeted by a very rude doorman who told (not asked) us to stand outside and wait til we were called in. We stood outside until 3.07pm when we were asked to go downstairs but not instructed on how to get to the venue inside properly. We stepped into the bar and was pointed in the direction of a table rather than walked out to this. We had 6 people in our party and was squeezed onto a table of 4. We noticed that all the other tables were given drinks on arrival but we didn’t get one until we asked the server who reluctantly bought them over. After putting on an iPhone light, all the Prosecco glasses had lipstick around the rims so we asked for replacements. The server rolled her eyes and again reluctantly bought new ones to the table. We then settled in to start our bottomless brunch, expecting entertainment (as that was what was stated when booking eg a drag Queen) but nothing happened. The server then advised that all participants had yo empty their glasses before refills were given but everyone drinks at a different pace meaning we was waiting longer for some people yo get drinks. In the end my family were taking drinks from the bar and we were serving ourselves as the other waitresses were occupied. I would like yo state that we were putting empty glasses on the bar to replace the drinks we were taking. Half a pizza per person for a bottomless brunch and for £50 per head ticket is abysmal. The pizza was stone cold and the cheese was like eating rubber. We forced it down as had to line our stomachs for the rest of the brunch. Entertainment started late into the brunch and didn’t last very long meaning the brunch was mostly listening to loud music and shouting at each other for attention. At the end of the brunch, we was not told it was over until people from outside had started to enter and we got moved from the table rudely. Frankly, I was glad to be out of there as it was the worst brunch I have attended and I have been to a fair few.
