Chilacas

Description

What with street food making a splash in the city, it's no wonder that Birmingham restaurant bar Chilacas took the opportunity to nab a plot in the scenic Brindleyplace.

A cool, fresh and quirky bar in Birmingham's Brindleyplace, Chilacas has brought the street food shack outside thanks to their wooden slat walls and urban downlighting. Boasting fresh flecks of neon greens and yellows, Chilacas mixes the vibrancy of Mexican culture with the rustic and traditional nature of rural food sheds.

Whilst purveyors and super advocates of the burrito, serving something a fresh conveyor belt selection of this Mexican classic, Chilacas may be one of the only 'fast food' joints in Birmingham to have an alcohol license under their belts. Serving everything from international beers and tequila to teapot cocktails for four, Chilacas have a petite but tailored drinks menu that fits in with their Mexican grub. Head in between 5 and 7pm everyday and get 1/3 off these tasty teapot treats all week long.
