The Dockyard is one of the latest ventures from Steve Pilling and the team behind Damson Media City. As MediaCity's first traditional pub, The Dockyard provides a cosy pub atmosphere with keg and cask ales, pale ales, beers and ciders, as well as a great wine selection curated by Wine connoisseur Pilling. Food will be high quality, with a more rustic, 'pubby' approach than sister venue Damson. The menu will feature the likes of spit roast free range chicken, handmade pies and handmade burgers by Mark Stanley – the company’s full-time butcher. The site is open for breakfast too, serving fresh juices and artisan breads in the morning. 

Less than a year after the opening of Damson MediaCity, The Dockyard offers a more relaxed alternative to Damson for drinking and dining in Salford Quays. This is a really great venue for after work drinks in MediaCity as well as Sunday lunch and pre-theatre bites, The Dockyard could be just what the area is crying out for. And with an industrial style interior that takes inspiration from the area's heritage, this modern pub has already started to bridge the gap between the area's industrial past and its cosmopolitan future.
