Lost in Tokyo

Description

Nestled in on Stevenson Square is Lost in Tokyo, a charming basement bar that brings a slice of the Far East to Manchester's Northern Quarter.

Step inside and you'll transported to the Land of the Rising Sun. The interior has been inspired by down town Tokyo - expect hanging lanterns and fluorescent lighting. The seating here takes the form of leather booths and high stalls, the latter of which are propped up against a wall bar. On said wall, is a huge mural which takes inspiration from Japan's favourite arcade fighting game, Street Fighter. And in the corner of this main space, you'll find a private hire area - the Dojo Room. This luminously lit corner has the space to hold 30 private partygoers.

Much like the interior, everything that you'll find behind the bar is inspired by the Far East. Expect plenty of Japanese beer, Sake (rice wine), and a selection of fantastic Japanese whiskies. On top of that, there's also a long list of quirky cocktails that come served up in all sorts of delightful little vessels - think rice bowls with straws! Finally, there's also a bottle bar that serves drinks onto a Japanese-style Yatai cart.
