The Howlin' Wolf

Description

Drawing inspiration from the bygone era of jazz and blues, Howlin' Wolf delivers a slice of music history in an underground den on Bath Street. Peppered with a distinctive Mississippi flavour, and sister bar of Bath Street jazz joint Slouch, Howlin' Wolf has a similar penchant for great music, with a policy heavy of rock 'n' roll, blues and soul. This Bath Street bar, kitchen and venue space serves up a cracking blend of cocktails, epic soul food, wonderful live music and mighty conversation in a cool and relaxed setting.

The interior showcases blues and rock icons from the 1950s to date, with portraits hanging on reclaimed wood walls and red Chesterfield booths scattered throughout. Howlin' Wolf and his fellow blues legends will make an appearance on the extensive cocktail menu: all are named after blues singers, so guests can look forward to sippin' on the likes of Blind Lemon Jefferson, Albert Collins and Robert Nighthawk. The signature Howlin' Wolf cocktail takes the form of a large spiced rum Cuba Libre with a Guinness head. Hungry guests can also wolf down a tasty selection of homemade burgers, pizzas, tacos and twists on comfort food classics.
