Located in the heart of York City Centre, Swinegate - it's the perfect location for lunchtime coffees and food and then weekend evenings it makes for the perfect cocktail bar/dance atmosphere with effect lighting.  Nearby all the shops and lots of other pubs/restaurants. The train station is around a 15/20 minute walk away. The venue has lots of natural daylight as it's surrounded with windows for walls on two sides- the venue doesn't have any private spaces but is conveniently split up into sections/semi private areas for larger bookings. The venue is suitable for any occassion. 

These sections are perfect for variety of gathering. Available for semi private hire for larger group booking,  either drinks only,  buffet bookings and formal dining . 

Section 1- up to 60 pax standing for drinks and buffet, up to 53 seated (max 16 pax formal dining)

Section 3-up to 30 pax standing for drinks and buffet, up to 26 seated (max 20 pax formal dining)-This section is located by one of the venue entrances and is near a lovely open window with lots of natural daylight. 

Section 4- up to 40 pax standing for drinks and buffet, up to 38 seated (max 12 pax formal dining)-Located next to section 3- this area does sit infront of the kitchen so staff will have to walk through from time to time.

Section 3 +4 -You can join these two sections together as they sit on a large raised area.Suitable for drinks / buffet up to 80 pax. This is preferred for larger bookings.  Lots of natural light. Perfect for any occasion. Also the best area for meetings/business lunches as it is lightly out of the way.
