Learn about the origins of the famous spirit and how it has spread across the globe. Sample a different whisk(e)y from each of the major countries that make it – Scotland, Ireland, Canada, Japan, India and the United States – and discover the unique flavours characteristic of each country.

Each class lasts two hours, and every guest samples a handpicked selection of six different whiskies whilst learning how to identify the distinctive traits and qualities of each region. Our whisky tastings begin with a whisk(e)y-based welcome cocktail and finish with each guest mixing their own Old Fashioned, using their personal favourite whisk(e)y from the class.

Reception Cocktail- Enjoy a whisk(e)y cocktail before your tasting begins

Tasting introduction- Your class instructor will outline the entertaining and rich history of whisk(e)y around the globe and how it became one of the world’s favourite spirits.

Tasting- Be guided through the six major whisk(e)y-producing countries and the variations in their classic flavour profiles.

Create- Choose your favourite whisky from the session to mix an Old fashioned with the assistance of your teacher. Whisk(e)y, bitters and sugar with an orange twist. Classic
