BACK AGAIN TO CELEBRATE 5 YEARS!

We are delighted to announce that we've partnered up with Christie's Catering to bring you another high quality menu showcasing local and seasonal produce.  Each dinner will offer an exquisite 3-course meal in a relaxed setting, which is all part of the unique dining experience that our guests love so much. These classic summer favourites may seem simple, but we are doing them extremely well and the taste will be superlative!


This year, we are celebrating our 5th Summer milestone!

And therefore, we have looked back at the menus that we have enjoyed and picked out some of the most popular elements you've loved from each year alongside some new treats for your taste buds for 2024.

Looking back on the inaugural The Lockdown Lodge, spending time with the people you love but hadn't been able to see for months was so important to us, so this year we are sticking to the popular sharing boards that were introduced last year.

What could be better than passing around platters of delicious food and soaking in the sunset with the people you care most about?

This year, we've switched our Sunday Lunch for the increasingly popular Sunday Brunch! Bring your friends to enjoy the prettiest brunch on the Thames.  A perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon. 

11am - 1pm

Getting to The Lockdown Lodge

Make travelling to and from The Lockdown Lodge easy by purchasing one of our River Taxi tickets, exclusively available on Friday and Saturday nights! You will be picked up from Henley and enjoy a gentle cruise down the famous Regatta course before being safely returned to the same spot at the end of the evening. Information available on ticket purchase.

Alternatively, we are a 10 min walk from Mill End Car park or 45 min walk from Henley on Thames Bridge.

The river taxi leaves and departs from Hobbs of Henley Boat yard RG9 1AZ at 7pm and returns you there for 10.30pm.

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made, however they may have to rush or miss courses.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged after purchase. Refunds can only be given if more than 48 hours notice are given, or your table can be filled.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue operates a No Smoking Policy on the Terrace
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is suitable for ticket holders who are over 15 years of age. We operate a challenge 25 policy and identification may be required for the purchase of alcohol.
13. The venue may create some short marketing and promotional footage throughout the event, including through the use of a drone. By purchasing this ticket you agree to be anonymously included in this footage unless otherwise stated to the event organisers.

    Something for everyone, and all of it is sublime! First up the setting, it's unique and beautiful! It takes a little effort to get to but you are more than rewarded for your toils. Book a table for dinner and the service, food and drink menu are excellent, well thought out and delicious locally sourced food nicely served to share (which more places should do) delicious wines and great service. If you fancy something impromptu then you can drink from the bar downstairs and choose something from the streetfood kitchen then enjoy them on a sofa outside watching the world float by one the river. Its a shame the lodge isn't a permanent venue, but then that is all part of its magic!

    The atmosphere and location was as always excellent. Having been the last 2 years as well we were not as impressed with the main course as before. It seemed strange to have dauphinoise potatoes with potatoes salad and a quinoa salad. Not sure we would return for that menu or we might just come downstairs for drinks and a more casual meal.
