So you didn't score a ticket to Glastonbury. Stop sobbing and dust off your wellies - there's a new festival in town (and guess what, it's FREE!). Yup, we've decided to host our own two-day music bonanza in our humongous garden and it's right next to the river we might add!
Grab yourself a train, bus or if you're close enough, a walk, to Canterbury during August Bank Holiday and enjoy a country festival experience. Day 1 will see six headlining acts including local bands, buskers, music school artists and DJs (names to be announced soon!), whilst Day 2 holds more of a family-fun vibe (don't let that stop you if you want to have a go at the bouncy castle or the inflatable slide though, both of which will be present!).
Everyone knows a festival isn't complete without some good grub and drink; we'll be cooking up a feast of hog roast served with home-made trimmings and oh yeah, there's an outside cocktail bar, too. In addition to our lovely indoor ale tap room and pub bar, of course.
By the way, we haven't even mentioned the best bit! Our festival is part of our Random Acts of Kindness Campaign. What's that, you say? Well, although GROVE FEST won't cost you a penny, we're employing a "pay-what-you-can" attitude...because all proceeds will go to charity!
