One body in the river. Six statements. Ten years of questions.

What happened to Scott Davies?

A decade ago, Scott Davies drowned in the heart of Cambridge. After reviewing the evidence available at the time, the inquest returned an open verdict.

Under amendments to the Justice Act 2020, remote inquests have become a popular means to clear the backlog of unsolved deaths. Together with eleven others, a police Archivist, and a Coroner, your duty is to determine the events that led up to Davies’ death.

Read the evidence. See the bigger picture. Find the truth.

Jury Games’ second interactive experience is the follow-up to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed Jury Duty(“Was I utterly absorbed? Guilty” - New York Times).

Featuring two live actors and a variety of multimedia evidence, players must compare notes, ask the right questions and work together in this race against time to find the truth before the case is closed forever.

Content note: the show contains discussion of suicide, drowning, and intoxication.

A really unique and fun online immersive show! It was really fun and intriguing the whole way through. Jury Games have found a way to make the show fun and easy to follow, and if you want to get involved and do lots you can, but also if you’re new to immersive theatre and want to sit back, you can do that too. The show also did a really good job at having me on the edge of my seat as the show progressed, even though the show was all done virtually! A really entertaining evening, I can’t recommend playing the show enough!

Brilliant! I've tried a few online sleuthing games over the last year and generally found them 'ok' (some quite confusing, exasperating and not so much fun) but this was absolutely excellent. We were brought into the game in a way that was engaging and that made it comprehensible. There was a well judged balance of help from those we interviewed - not too revealing but just enough to keep the game rolling. Ditto the support to get all jury members working together. That is not easy when people don't know each other and the clock is ticking, so it's quite an accomplishment they managed it so well. What was very satisfying was that the story, in the end, was so cogent and well thought through. So jury members can work this one out but you will have to pay attention and think about it! I went on from Jury Duty to do The Inquest and I enjoyed that one even more. I felt more comfortable with and confident in Jury Games than any other provider I've worked with this year, so if you want a couple of hours of fun - with a bit of thought required - go for it. I would definitely recommend them. I'll be looking out for the next one.
