Learn to dance Salsa in one day - London experiences for
singles, couples, tourists, friends & work colleagues. All types of
dance & beginner-friendly classes
Learn to dance in one day has teamed up with the organisers of
Colindale Salsa, Bachata and Fitness to help you learn to dance
Salsa in one day with a professional Salsa dance instructor.
NOTE: This course teaches Salsa Crossbody On 1, not Cuban
Salsa or Colombian Salsa. Join this fun, friendly, one-day Salsa
Crossbody On 1 crash course and leave feeling confident, energised
and ready for the social dancefloor!
Tickets:
£60 per person, otherwise £110 for couples/pairs (1 lead + 1
follow)

Schedules
What the day looks like & schedule depending on your preferred time
slot: 11am or 3:15pm time slot on Saturdays, otherwise 12 midday on
Sundays.
1. Arrival & check-In (On Saturdays either 10:40am – 11:00am or 3pm
- 3:15pm / otherwise 11:45am - 12 midday on Sundays)
2. Introductions, meet your instructor and fellow dancers (15
mins)
3. Warm-up and foundations including Salsa timing & rhythm (On 1) +
core basic steps + balance, posture & natural movement + right-turn
& left-turn technique + simply styling tips for both leaders
& followers (45 mins)
4. Starting to build your Salsa toolkit including open break +
crossbody lead (CBL) + lead/follow connection + beginner-friendly
practice combinations (1 hour)
5. Lunch/dinner + optional social dancing. Music will be playing —
practise at your own pace or relax and recharge (30 mins)
6. Partner work essentials including smooth transitions in and out
of the CBL move + partner work confidence & communication + CBL
inside turn / outside turn variations + footwork transitions for
smooth flow (55 mins)
7. Learn a short routine containing everything we've learned so far
which you can use at social dance events (25 to 30 mins)
8. Group photo and celebrate your progress (5 mins)
9. Close (On Saturday at either 3pm or 7:15pm / otherwise 4pm on
Sunday)
The day can end here or if you'd like to stay longer:
The instructor could hang about for anyone who needs any further
support to go over anything we've covered so far including any
basic Salsa footwork, partner work, the routine, timing, partner
connection, body awareness, etc (On Saturdays at either 3:00pm -
3:15pm or 7:15pm - 7:30pm / otherwise 4:00pm - 4:15pm on
Sundays)

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
