Swap the mince pies for maki this Christmas. Our sell-out Sushi School is back with a festive twist. From 18th November to 31st December, every adult guest can enjoy our Christmas cocktail, the Yuzu Spicy Margarita, during their class.
It’s made with MOTH Spicy Margarita and yuzu popping boba and finished with a Blackout Flying Goose Sriracha and Tajín half rim. It’s zesty, fiery and the perfect drink to roll with.
Your class lasts around two hours, with full instruction from a YO! sushi master. Whether it’s a Christmas party, a festive date or a gift for the foodie who has everything, it’s a celebration with a difference.
What’s included:
- A festive welcome drink for adults: choose our Yuzu Spicy Margarita (11.3% ABV), a 330ml Asahi, a 125ml Prosecco or a soft drink
- A Cawston Press juice for under 16s
- Edamame and gyoza to share
- A short history of sushi and a fish-cutting demonstration
- Hands-on help making four sushi dishes
- Your creations to eat at the end, or to take home
Sample menu: (this may change depending on group size, dietary requirements and daily specials): salmon sashimi or inari, salmon or inari nigiri, cucumber maki, a Crunchy Cali or Kyoto Garden roll, and a salmon avocado or yasai hand roll.

Festive terms:
- The Yuzu Spicy Margarita is available for classes from 18th November to 31st December 2026. It is for guests aged 18+ only, and ID may be requested.
- The cocktail is one per adult ticket, and it replaces the standard welcome drink.
- All standard Sushi School terms still apply.

We burst onto the restaurant scene in 1997, when we shook up London's Soho and showed the UK a new way of eating. Part of that was the 'kaiten' conveyor belt and colour-coded dishes which made our name. We still believe in eating in colour. Fast forward to today and we have close to 100 restaurants all over the planet.
If we had a middle name, it'd be 'fresh'. We serve all our dishes on the day we make them. And you might even be able to watch yours being created by our chefs in our open kitchens.

1. YO! is unable to offer any refunds for cancellations made after 24 hours from the time of booking for any reason.
2. Tickets are only valid for the date and time of class specified in ticket purchase and are not exchangeable for cash or other items.
3. If you wish to reschedule your tickets, please email bookings@yosushi.com, who will reschedule your booking for you. Please note this cannot be done within 72 hours of the booking date and can only be done once.
4. The Sushi school menu may be subject to variations if ingredients are not available, please ask your sushi school leader for more details.
5. Please let us know if you have any food allergies – it is your responsibility to let us know of any allergies or intolerances. Our full allergens list and policies is available at https://yosushi.com/legal/allergen-information
6. Unfortunately we cannot amend or substitute any of the menu items.
7. Please arrive 10 minutes early in order to start your sushi school on time. Latecomers to the class up to 15 minutes will be admitted on manager discretion but will not be able to make up the time once the class has started or be refunded for any portion of the class missed. Latecomers who arrive 15 minutes after the class has begun may be refused entry.
8. Please do not be offended if we ask to see ID should you wish to select the alcoholic option as part of your package.
