Orleans House Gallery is located along the beautiful Twickenham Riverside, a truly unique and inspiring historical place hosting regular art and cultural exhibitions, activities and private events. The gallery is a free public art gallery, and houses the newly renovated Grade 1 listed Octagon room. Residents and visitors have been enjoying good food and hospitality for over three hundred years at this stunning location.

The Stables Café sits within its own large courtyard just to the side of the main house, and in here the in-house chefs prepare delicious, fresh food from market produce tailored to suit any occasion across the seasons. They work with a carefully selected list of suppliers to ensure only the highest quality ingredients are used. 

Please note that we taking care to following the government's Covid guidelines at all times, and we adapt our offering accordingly. 

Event Hire within Orleans House with onsite catering by The Stables Cafe

There are a number of venues available for private hire  - from the stunning Octagon room, to the coach house and smaller rooms suitable for corporate hire. They cater for anything from small gatherings such as kids parties or business meetings, to large scale weddings, and the Stables Cafe provides on-site catering in each of these unique spaces.

Not looking for an event venue - just want to reserve some space within the cafe for during the day?

The Stables Café and Orleans House Gallery are open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday from 9am. Why not book your own stall in the historic stables for breakfast, morning coffees or afternoon tea and cake? We also have seating outside in our large courtyard.  Please email enquiries to hello@orleanshouse.cafe.co.uk a day or more in advance and we will be happy to help. 

Nb. reservations are for groups of 4 or above people (depending on Covid restrictions) and must include a food order if booked between 11am-2.30pm. Reservations last 90 mins max, and we request that you please arrive within 15 mins of your booking time (or we will assume the reservation is no longer needed).

Seasonal Pop-Up Dinners and Gallery Events

The Café provide catering for the Gallery's programme of events throughout the year, including kids activities and from time to time host pop-up seasonal dinners.
