Description
Fancy a meal with a difference and a view? The River Exe Café is one of the country's only floating offshore restaurants. Moored in the beautiful River Exe, their 'Gastro Shed' has been welcoming first time visitors and regulars alike for 12 years.
The restaurant can only be accessed by boat, either by the Puffin Water Taxi Service. For guests lucky enough to have their own boat, they also have a private landing pontoon.
Head chef Jack's menu combines the best seasonal local produce with high quality ingredients to produce a menu that not only caters for seafood lovers but the whole family. Booking is essential. The River Exe Café is a seasonal family friendly restaurant open from 1st April to 30th September each year. Dogs are also welcome.
