Description

Tucked amid rolling Wiltshire countryside, The Great Bustard blends country-pub charm with boutique hotel polish. Inside, you’ll find a cosy bar with roaring fireplaces and comfy wingback chairs, alongside a bright, modern restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with light.

It’s all about the farm-to-table experience. Head Chef Jordan Taylor (with training from a two-Michelin-starred background, he brings both flair and ambition) crafts seasonal, modern-British cuisine using local produce- from venison and trout to game and garden vegetables, often sourced directly from the Great Durnford Estate. It’s elevated yet unfussy dining, whether you're enjoying small plates or hearty roasts at the bar or restaurant.

The place boasts a two-Rosette recognition for culinary excellence and AA 5-Star 'Restaurant with Rooms' status. Inspectors rave about the elegant renovation, warm pub bar with open fire, sunlit restaurant, diverse menus (including pizzas, a la carte, and Sunday roasts), and the ten stylish rooms with all the modern comforts.

There's also a lovely farm shop, private dining room (The Black Grouse), spa treatments in the Osprey room using in-house aromatherapy products, and dog-friendly rooms.
