Westerham Brewery is proud to be working with Jazz Impresario Matthew Ruddick of KindOfJazz to host some amazing singers and musicians from the world of jazz.

ROBIN PHILLIPS SINGS & PLAYS CHET BAKER
In this programme, Robin performs the music of one of the most legendary jazz singer / instrumentalists of the 20th century: jazz beau and bad boy Chet Baker. Vocally, Robin is often compared with Chet Baker and to bring this music to life Robin has connected with jazz trumpeter James Brady, whose melodic approach to soloing contributes to performing the songs made famous by Chet, including his own compositions.
The ensemble will perform in the format preferred by Chet (especially in his European era): the drummer-less trio, with piano and bass, which allows for additional space. The ensemble will also include guitar, which enables the group to look at tunes recorded by Chet on albums such as Embraceable You. Songs performed will include Almost Blue, Do It The Hard Way, Let’s Get Lost, Look For The Silver Lining, The Thrill Is Gone, and You Don’t Know What Love Is. The band will also consider Chet’s instrumental material such as Hotel 49, Broken Wing, Beatrice, and Anticipated Blues.
There are a few Chet Baker tribute shows around today, but none gets as close to realising Chet’s essence as this pairing of two of the UK’s most promising jazz talents.

4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
