Steeped in history and charm, The Queen's Head is Frodsham’s oldest coaching inn, dating back to the early 17th century. This Grade II listed pub originally served as stabling for 23 horses, and you can still spot the historic stables and coach house with its iconic large white doors opposite the rear of the pub.
Originally named The King's Head, the pub was renamed in 1837 when Queen Victoria ascended the throne. Today, The Queen's Head is a beloved stop on the Sandstone Trail, one of Cheshire’s most popular walks. The pub is a favourite gathering spot for walkers and tourists, especially during the warmer months, thanks to their unrivalled outdoor spaces—including a lit and partially covered side garden, front and rear patio seating areas, and a spacious rear beer garden.
They show live sports on big screens, making it the perfect place to catch the game while enjoying their delicious menu.
