Description

The Farmer’s Dog, Jeremy Clarkson’s countryside pub in West Oxfordshire, is a bold celebration of British farming and traditional pub culture. Formerly known as The Windmill, the venue has been transformed into a rustic yet lively destination featuring exposed brick walls, red leather armchairs, and quirky touches that reflect Clarkson’s signature humour.

The pub includes not just a bar and restaurant, but also a butcher shop (Hops & Chops), an outdoor kitchen (The Farmer’s Puppy), as well as a mini Diddly Squat Farm Shop. All are located in the old Grand Tour tent, which showcases some memorabilia from the show.

Every ingredient served is grown or reared in Britain. The menu changes with the seasons and features hearty British fare like venison, lamb, and pork, all sourced locally. The pub also serves Hawkstone beer, Clarkson’s own brew, and British-made fizzy drinks and wines.

Though still new, The Farmer’s Dog has already made headlines for its unique concept and celebrity backing, even hosting the Red Bull F1 team’s Christmas dinner, who gifted Clarkson an engine cover now displayed as pub memorabilia.
