Description
On the edge of St Aubin's Harbour dating back to the 15th-century is The Old Court House. The oldest part date back 1450, one such feature is the Granite Newel Staircase.
The front of the building was originally Osbourne House, a typical wealthy merchants home, with enormous cellars to store legitimate goods brought into the harbour but also plunder from the Privateers. Within the interior of the pub you will find the original well, and wooden beams from former Oak Ships of England. The magnificent ship window forms the front of the main restaurant, which was used during filming of Bergerac and was known as The Royal Barge.
Enjoy a private celebration, or a casual catch up with friends over a pint of award-winning beer, ale or cider. If that's not your thing they have a selection of wine, spirits and cocktails.
The menu is a variety of pubs classics everyone knows and love, but also chef specials made with locally sourced ingredients. Outside, there’s a fabulous rear courtyard and a sun-trap terrace with amazing views over the harbour.
It's the perfect base for exploring the island of Jersey, with local attractions including St Aubin’s Fort, the Jersey War Tunnels, Elizabeth Castle, the La Mare Wine Estate and Jersey Zoo.
