Description

Norwich’s newest hub for music lovers, Dead Wax Social, will open its doors to the city, celebrating all things vinyl, digital and live music. Situated on the site of the former Dog House on St. George’s street, Dead Wax Social will be a music-first venue, alongside providing a space for Norwich’s creative community.

Music lovers can look forward to an eclectic mix of genres, from guitar-driven bands and selector DJs with crate digging sounds to promoter led events showcasing the best of Norwich’s local talent. Dead Wax Social will also play host to art exhibitions, community-led events, magazine launches, photoshoots and even podcasts.

Hungry patrons can be nourished by World Famous Gordo’s Pizza as they serve up New York style slices, complimented by a range of craft-forward beers from Laine Brew Co, a curated cocktail menu, high quality spirits, organic wines and a strong low and no offering.

Guests can expect a DJ booth downstairs and a live music floor upstairs, where the bar has been moved to the back of the room to ensure a great view for all that come by. Visually, the venue will be spectacle of neon lighting in dark spaces, complementing the periodic fixtures and inviting soft touches.
