Housed within the only 5* hotel on Guernsey, guests are welcome to dine with incredible sea views overlooking the harbour on the hill of St Peter's Port.
Guests are warmly welcomed to enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, seasonal pastries and decedent scones whilst the team ensure the smooth delivery of exceptional service and hospitality.
Afternoon Tea can be accommodated within several areas within the hotel including Sir John Cowards Lounge or in warmer weather, outdoors in The Olive Grove and gardens.
Daily: 2 pm - 5.30 pm (Earlier times can be requested but are subject to availability)
Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten-Free options are available. Please let us know if you have any specific dietary restrictions or allergies when making a reservation.

You simply can’t visit The Old Government House without enjoying a traditional Afternoon Tea, and sampling some of the finest Guernsey cream with your scones. Enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, freshly made scones and a glorious array of cakes and delicacies.

Bellini or Prosecco Afternoon Tea
Choose a glass of either Prosecco or strawberry or peach Bellini (150ml) to go with your selection of finger sandwiches on white and brown bread, freshly baked scones with Guernsey clotted cream, a selection of delicious homemade cakes, accompanied by the tea of your choice.
Vegan option available.
