Within easy reach of historical city centres like Bath and Chippenham, The Crown Inn is the gateway to the Cotswolds. Stepped in history, the 16th-century pub has been given a complete makeover – lime-plastered walls and paintwork have been washed in sage green, teal and blues, accentuating original beams and fireplaces.
You'll be greeted with a warm welcome as you enter the pub with original features and charm. Enjoy a warm toddy by the fireplace, or catch up with friends and family in the more formal dining area.
On the menu is a selection of chef specials made with locally sourced ingredients or you'll find our traditional pub classics. On the bar is a selection of Butcombe beers and ales, all award-winners in their own way. There's also a variety of wines, spirits and soft drinks, if beer isn't quite for you. The Crown is dog and family-friendly, as well as having wheelchair access for those who are quite abled-bodied. On sunny days, the garden has been known to be a sun trap and customers enjoy the warmth on their skin throughout the day.
