Description
Opened in 1862, the Avon Causeway sits on the site of the old Hurn Railway Station. Surrounded by original features that will fascinate railway enthusiasts, it is also home to The Pullman – a mid-20th century decommissioned train carriage. Dine inside the carriage as you imagine yourself going along the Bournemouth coast. Enjoy fresh fish caught in and around the surrounding area, or dig into a traditional pub classic.
Behind the bar is a selection of award-winning beers, ales and ciders on draught, as well as a selection of wines and spirits to create your favourite cocktail. There's plenty of nature reserves, including the famous RSPB Arne. Once done for the day, the Avon Causeway is dog and children-friendly and has plenty of seating available for everyone to relax either inside or out.
