Left with no other option, Jack and his mother, Dame Trott, decide to sell their only cow, but when Jack runs into Giant George’s servant Fleshcreep, he’s tricked into selling their beloved animal for a bag of beans. When a giant beanstalk grows overnight Jack has an idea…

But a kindly fairy, seeing how much Mother Goose does for her local community, decides to help her and sends them the answer to all of their problems in the form of Priscilla – a goose that lays golden eggs! However, our Fairy's nemesis, Demonic Dominic, is determined to prove that no human being will ever be content with what they have:  "Search all the world and you will fail to find, a man or woman with a contented mind" So Dominic sets out to lure Mother Goose into temptation and the chance to bathe in the fountain of eternal youth in return for the Golden Goose. Will Mother Goose be able to resist temptation? Will Priscilla be safe from Demonic Damian? Will science ever be able to explain how a goose can lay a golden egg?Find the answer to some of these questions in our brilliant family pantomime at the pub! Expect brightly coloured costumes, song and dance numbers that will amaze, and more than a few jokes just for the grown ups. This is an Easter treat that is truly for the whole family! ‘Great, funny. There were three comedians and the third did elicit laughs from myself and other around me. By then most had a few drinks in them. The second I felt sorry for. The content did not work and she herself is too "ordinary". This sounds cruel. the first person had some good lyrics to her songs. I felt the compere over relied on the the first row of the audience and with each successive break came up with similar commentary. I go to comedy nights 4-5 times a year and will continue to do so. I am a glass half full kind of person.
