Bel & The Dragon has teamed up with Quip Shed Comedy to bring you a Bel-ly Full of Laughs.
Expect a night of familiar faces and new material as some of the best comedians in the business take over our restaurant.
For our Christmas show, we have an incredible line-up featuring Don Biswas, Caroline Mabey, Jacob Nussey, and host Lyle Barke!
Don Biswas is a politically charged gag merchant who likes to cover a wide range of subjects including his Asian upbringing and his neurodiversity as someone with dyspraxia, ADHD, and ASD, and even the most important of topics.. conspiracy theories. Don is a regular face in comedy clubs across the UK, and alongside that, Don recently recorded a comedy special for BBC Radio 4 entitled ‘Neurotopical’, and has appeared on Radio 4’s 13 Million Club and Rosie Jones’s Boxticker, as well as UKTV Digital's Rosie Jones’s Disabled Comedy Extravaganza.
Caroline Mabey is a fringe and circuit favourite, appearing at festivals, theatres and clubs all around the country. Silly, warm and sharp as hell, she always creates a gag-packed frenzy of fun. Caroline has recently appeared on Comedy Central as part of their Performance Anxiety campaign, and in Before the Morning After on NBC's Digital Comedy Channel, Seeso. She also features in Josh Howie's Losing It Series 1 and 2 on BBC Radio 4 and has written for Radio 4's News Quiz.
She has supported Hal Cruttenden on tour, and has five solo Edinburgh shows to her name. She is one half of double act the Two Stupids with Michael Legge, and co-hosts the popular Self-Renovators podcast.
Jacob Nussey unassumingly draws in audiences with his deadpan style, sharp jokes, and ill-fated anecdotes with clever punchlines. Jacob won West Didsbury Comedy Festival New Act of the Year, was a finalist of Leicester Square Theatre New Comedian of the Year in 2022, and reached the semi-finals of British Comedian of the Year and So You Think You’re Funny in 2021. Jacob has been named by Chortle as one to watch for 2023.
