Manchester City will feature in the Community Shield this summer after becoming the first team in over two decades to do the treble.
The Citizens have featured in the annual curtain-raiser for the last two seasons but have come out on the losing side both times.
City fell to a 1-0 defeat to Leicester in the 2021 edition before they were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool ahead of the current campaign.
But Pep Guardiola's side will get the chance to rectify those defeats later this year.
City build upon their third Premier League title in a row by beating rivals Man United 2-1 in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
And then City completed the jewel in their crown with a first ever Champions League triumph following their 1-0 win over Inter Milan.
Who will play in the 2023/24 Community Shield?
The showpiece event typically sees the Premier League champions face off against the winners of the FA Cup at Wembley.
However, in the event that one club wins both trophies, then they will play whoever finishes second in the Premier League.
That means runners-up Arsenal will be involved after City beat Man United in the FA Cup final.
City were involved in the last Community Shield to feature this scenario, which coincidentally, was the last time they won it.
