They brew a delicious range of core and seasonal beers onsite, each one unique to the pub they're found in, just like their name – pop in to find out more about the story behind their name, such as 'Brewers Arms'. Named in celebration of the history of pubs whose medieval origin comes from when brewing was carried out in the home by women, and as beer grew in popularity the best ‘ale wives’ started to open up their homes and sell their beer, and as these became gradually more commercial in the 19th century, the ‘public house’ was born. This very site was one of these; changing its usage from a domestic house to a ‘public house’ and locally named as the ‘Brewers Arms’ in testament to the great beer it produced.
