One of the best bars in Sheffield (and the whole country), Public is renowned for turning out some of the most impressive drinks on the UK cocktail scene. Hidden away in a former gents' toilet below Sheffield Town Hall, this 40-seater space has garnered some serious acclaim, including being named the best place to drink in the UK in 2018. 

It's no surprise, given the quality of the concoctions on offer here. Doing away with glitzy gimmicks, both the food and drink menus here put focus on locality and top-notch produce - think cleverly crafted cocktails made with homemade infusions and lesser-used ingredients, alongside tasty small plates offering a modern twist on classic comfort food.

The decor adds the final unique touches to the Public experience, mixing plush teal booths and gold-edged tables with the old tiles from the space's days as a working bathroom.
