Scarlett Welch is an Editor at DesignMyNight, covering the UK's best in food, drink and going out — from restaurant reviews and bar guides to curated roundups spanning omakase restaurants, saunas and cat cafes across the country's biggest cities.

She holds an MA in Media & Journalism and has been writing about hospitality since joining DMN in 2023, bringing real industry experience from years working across Kent, London and Newcastle. Before DMN, she freelanced for North East culture magazine The Crack and held senior editorial roles at Newcastle University's The Courier. Scarlett also contributes to South London News as a news journalist covering her local community.
