Puma Theory Presents: March 2023 saw us play our first ever gig as Puma Theory at none other than the Oakford. The staff made us feel so welcome and the venue provided a great atmosphere for the gig on the night, so when we were discussing possible venues to host Puma Theory Presents, Oakford was a no brainer.
The idea behind the run of gigs is to celebrate the local music scene we have in Reading and contribute to its growth. There are some great bands doing really exciting things and we want to do all we can to help push the community forward. Whether you want to call it a scene or a community or whatever, we're really grateful to be surrounded by so many class bands, artists, photographers, promoters and generally creative people in Reading and wanted to put on a run of events that brings a lot of these people together. Sadly, we couldn't squeeze all of our favourite local bands and acts into three nights but who's to say we won't do another run of gigs in the future if this one goes to plan!.

Jopy: Exciting newcomer Jopy's sound might best be described as vibrant indie with a hip-swaying, reptilian underbelly. Underpinned by punk spirit and topped with poetic lyrics, Jopy's music is already winning devoted fans thanks to two hook-packed self-produced singles, 'Headshot' and 'Ka Ka Killer'. Expect singles and an EP from Goo Records' latest signings later this year!
Hoof: Sweet n sour Indie Guitar-Pop brought to you by this female fronted four piece from Oxfordshire. A haven of indie & grungey goodness Adomania: A female-fronted, three-piece alternative/rock band from the Wokingham area

If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.

12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
