Laceworks is an independent, community-focused bar and event space in the heart of Hockley, set inside Nottingham’s last working lace factory.
From Open Mic and Quiz Nights to creative workshops, live events, socials and local collaborations, our calendar is built around bringing people together. Alongside our own events, Laceworks is available for private parties, celebrations, weddings and corporate events, with a flexible space that can be made your own.
We’re all about local craft beer & fine wine, great people and creating a laid-back, welcoming space for Nottingham’s community.

Make Laceworks yours. Our main bar and private garden are available for birthdays, weddings, celebrations, socials and corporate events, with flexible layouts for up to 120 guests. Our hire fee starts from £200 (Weddings priced separately) and covers the planning, admin and staffing that goes into making your event happen. A minimum bar spend also applies, based on your date and event size. Private hires are a big part of what keeps Laceworks thriving — helping us continue to host affordable community events, from Open Mic and Quiz Nights to workshops and local collaborations.
