Penny Lane

Penny Lane was born out of reminiscing of family holidays to iconic British seaside arcades. Think Brighton, Blackpool and even Skegness. The creative team at Penny Lane wanted to bring those classic arcades to the heart of Nottingham. This bar and arcade was truly born as a love letter to childhood memories.

Creating a place for everyone to come down and enjoy. Sourcing the very best in nostalgic and vintage arcade games from ski ball, air hockey and even donkey derby to name just a few. They have then placed them all in a bar surrounded by retro references.

The nostalgia doesn’t stop there, on the menu is childhood classics like burgers and hotdogs. Not to mention some modern classics such as halloumi fries, jalapeño poppers and nachos. 

To top it all off the cocktails are seaside and arcade inspired too. With headliners including 99 Problems But a Beach Ain’t One garnished with a seaside rock and inflatable or the Calippo cocktail served with a whole Calippo.

All of the games (minus the 2p Penny Pushers) are token operated, with tokens available to purchase using either cash or card at one of the exchange machines. Fear not, there’s even a machine to convert your change to 2ps.
