Queens Night Market

Description

Queens Night Market is a vibrant, open-air celebration of global culture and cuisine held in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, every Saturday night from spring through autumn. Founded in 2015 by John Wang, the market was inspired by the night markets of Taiwan and designed to reflect the extraordinary diversity of Queens - often called “The World’s Borough.”

The market features up to 100 independent vendors offering food, art, and merchandise from over 95 countries, all within a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. Its signature feature is affordability, with a price cap of $6 per dish, ensuring accessibility for all.

The market has earned widespread acclaim, including being named one of the top food festivals in the U.S. and ranked #9 on The New York Times’ list of best restaurants in New York City in 2023. It also inspired a cookbook, The World Eats Here, which shares vendor stories and recipes. Beyond food, Queens Night Market hosts live performances, cultural showcases, and community events, drawing up to 20,000 visitors each Saturday.
