Gospel NYC

Description

Gospel NYC is a lounge and cultural hub tucked away in SoHo, designed to feel more like a spiritual retreat than a traditional nightclub. With its layered interiors, custom incense, and immersive lighting, the venue invites you into a 'vortex' of deep house music, art, and connection.

The space features multiple rooms, including the exclusive Tribe Room, which hosts private sets from DJs like Black Coffee and Diplo, and is scented with fragrances crafted by French perfumer Fred Jacques. Sculptures by artist Michael Benisty add a meditative, South Asian flair, while the overall vibe channels Burning Man energy with a New York twist.

Founded by Juriël Zeligman, Waël Mechri-Yver, and James Huddleston, Gospel is built on inclusivity and creativity rather than wealth or status. There’s no membership - just a vibe check. The music direction, led by Kevin De Roos, leans into deep house and global sounds, with early bookings from now-renowned artists like Carlita and Amémé.
