Daintree is a vibrant rooftop bar and lounge perched atop Hotel Hendricks in Midtown Manhattan, offering sweeping views of the Empire State Building and the city skyline. The venue spans two levels and features a 180-seat indoor space complemented by a 70-seat outdoor terrace known as The Treetop.

The interior design draws inspiration from Australia’s lush Daintree Rainforest, with coral reef-shaped chairs, deep gem-tone accents, wicker seating, and plush velvet couches creating a tropical yet upscale ambiance. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, ideal for both casual drinks and private events.

The culinary direction at Daintree is shaped by Executive Chef David Taylor, whose international experience spans kitchens in San Francisco, New Orleans, Prague, and Tokyo. The menu leans into Aussie-Asian fusion, with a strong emphasis on martinis and elevated small bites.

Daintree is part of the Parched Hospitality Group, co-founded by Barry Dry and Tom Rowse, who are known for bringing Australian-style hospitality to the U.S. While Daintree itself has notched acclaim for its design and views, its sister restaurant Isla & Co. has received praise for its innovative brasserie-style cuisine, hinting at the high standards upheld across the group.
