Superbueno

Superbueno, located in Manhattan’s East Village, is a vibrant Mexican-American cocktail bar that fuses high-level mixology with street food-inspired flavours and bold design. The interior is a lively celebration of culture and creativity, featuring neon lights, Lucha Libre murals, and festive primary colours that evoke the energy of Mexico City. The space is designed to be both playful and welcoming, with a soundtrack of cumbia and Mexican indie-pop, and a layout that encourages spontaneous dancing and communal vibes.

Founded by Ignacio “Nacho” Jimenez in partnership with bar entrepreneur Greg Boehm, Superbueno has quickly become one of the most acclaimed bars in the country. It was named Best New U.S. Cocktail Bar by Tales of the Cocktail and ranked No. 2 on North America’s 50 Best Bars in both 2024 and 2025. Jimenez, a James Beard semifinalist, is known for his inventive drinks like the Roasted Corn Sour and Mole Negroni, which blend agave spirits with unexpected ingredients and sustainable techniques.
