Looking for a fun way to unwind on a Sunday afternoon or just something fun and different to do in Melbourne? Transport yourself to one of Australia’s most famous wine regions with Drool's wine and cheese pairing experience for the ultimate indulgent afternoon!
Drool has partnered with renowned South Australian Wine Maker Grant Burge, with Sommelier Olga, and Melbourne Cheesemakers That’s Amore Cheese for you to taste a range of six classic wines and pair with four delicious Italian cheeses.
In this enlightening and interactive experience, join our resident wine expert and Sommelier Olga as she takes you through an in-depth Wine Tasting and Cheese Pairing. Olga’s mission is to make wine tastings a more fun and personable experience in a relaxed and informative setting.
During your experience, you will sniff, swirl and sip your way through one rosé, two whites, two reds and one fortified wine from the Grant Burge Range. As you taste your way through the wines, you will explore what wine is and those important factors that affect its taste, from grape varieties to the geography and climate of a vineyard and more.
You'll then learn how best to pair wine with a variety of cheeses made from pasteurised or raw milk, goat's milk and cow's milk. By the end of the experience, you'll understand how the pairing can not only enhance but transform a wine experience!
At the end of this class, you will walk away feeling confident about wine having built a solid foundation on which to develop your wine education. You will also have learnt some fun and memorable facts about tasting and cheese pairing that you can impress your friends and family with!

- You will need to be double vaccinated in order to attend this event and proof of the same will be required upon entry to the venue.

Drool hosts a series of culinary experiences and events that are designed to bring people together in celebrating our common love of food. In the sharing of food and beverages, barriers are broken down and we create opportunities to meet, learn from, empathise with and be inspired by one and other. Our experiences are dedicated to cultivating these connections, in creating deliciously unforgettable memories.
Our in-person and virtual food and drink experiences are a great way to socialise and have fun, whilst also refining your culinary skills and dishing up delicious restaurant quality creations! Our experiences are hosted by our talented team of local Culinary Instructors, both online and in local venues throughout Melbourne.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
