After a brilliantly fun night in late July 2021, who's up for an agenda-less reason to get together?
We have this event in Manchester and another similar summer party happening in London the week before - check it out here!
Whether you work in agency, in-house or freelance, you are welcome! You'll probably want to work in PR and/or media/marketing/adjacent fields (social media, digital etc), but if you don't have a team to come with or are worried you won't know anybody, feel free to invite a friend.
On the night
There'll be a free bar (within reason, you animals - magnums of champagne are off the menu, SORRY), music, and a cash prize or two to be won for... something daft we'll think up before then.
In short, come along, have a laugh and socialise!
The venue
The Pen & Pencil is a late night New York City-influenced bar - in fact, its owners say it was inspired by an 'infamous spot popular with the original Mad Men'.
With a capacity that'll fit 200 of us, it looks seriously cool, and is in the Northern Quarter. Have a look at the gallery and videos here.

Cause we're supporting:
Nobody likes a party where nobody shows up - especially when numbers are limited. Therefore, buying tickets is a must. However, 100% of whatever you pay will go towards the amazing Socially Mobile (after ticketing platform fees - in short, we're not making a penny from this).
Socially Mobile is a 'not-for-profit PR school equipping the workforce of today for the challenges of tomorrow'.
Its 10 week course delivers free training to those from lower socio-economic backgrounds, as well as under-represented and under-served groups including black, Asian and ethnic minority practitioners, the LGBTQ+ community, women returners and those with disabilities.
Finally - tickets to these have gone very quickly in the past once live, so if you don't want to miss out, get booking!

We means Radioactive - we are a UK-based consumer agency dedicated to creative work that delivers REAL measurable results.
That's about as promotional as I'll be about us - I've done a few of these in the past when I ran PRexamples.com (now Famous Campaigns), and they were always great nights filled with drinks, gossip and something amounting to, but definitely cooler than, networking.

Looking for a PR free bar summer spectacular? You've come to the right place. Buy tickets for one or both of this summer's shindigs in London and/or Manchester below.
T&Cs
1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
