The whole night was beautiful and the entertainment so professional and well picked. I was very disappointed though from the management regarding the following: I had booked a table for five, it at the last minute two of my guests had Covid and couldn’t not attend. The rest three of us attended. As we had paid for five and had each one bottle of Prosecco, I kindly asked if we could keep the two bottles for those who did not attend on tab, so that we can attend another night with the two people who did not attend. I was surprised to hear back that it was not possible. As I explained, the bottles were already paid either way and not used, the only fair would be to use them at some point. The bar would not lose money either way, we had paid this 50£ for these two bottles that cost like 6£ and the next time we would attend we would be a big group of friends and would have these two bottles and cocktails. Therefore the bar would only win again money not lose. It is unacceptable therefore to have denied categorically to save these bottles. The irony is we are regularly to the Cockatoo club and I also know Nick, we are not besties but I support all his businesses and ventures in the village. Despite this though, we had a beautiful night and enjoyed having attended after all.
