With a philosophy for serving proper food, proper ale and punter classics all year round, The Dockyard is the latest watering hole to grace Spinningfields.
A far cry from your traditional pubbing venture, The Dockyard fuses industrial innards with rustic design where metalwork, wood and leather textures all combine to create a space of Modern countryside aesthetic. The rugged nature of this boozer is where its charm lies - with all the trimmings of a punter playground you can count on a hefty spread of ales, beers and lagers to keep you merry. The cocktail collection is small but perfectly formed of three Dockyard Specials covering the spirit trifecta: Ophir Gin & Ginger Ale, Stolichnaya Salted Caramel & Apple Juice and Old J Rum & Ting. Done.
The food is another matter entirely. Get ready for some Deep South fuelled feasting from the kitchen where big burgers are the name of the game (Miss Betty and Hot Lips should keep you busy) and the Chicken Wings or Smoked Jack Sauce BBQ Ribs will have you bibbed up for a messy chomping session. If those Americana style goodies don't tickle you're pickle then The Dockyard's selection of Butties, Pies, Salads and Snacks will definitely do you dandy.
A word from the chef:
This kitchen specialises in Americana style foods with big BBQ flavours and patty's like The Hot Lips and The Miss Betty to wrap your gnashers around. Butties and pies satisfy the traditional punter grazer with a specials board available for something a little different.
