What they say:

Fable plans to bring together Japanese cuisine with East Asian mythology to create a truly unique dining experience. The venue digs into the deep lore of Asian fairy tales to craft its interior – and doesn’t settle for any half measures. Alongside ornamental Asian vases and Chinese tilework are two giant dragon sculptures that will hang from the ceiling, and a DJ booth shaped like a hand holding a fish. Meanwhile, the menu will focus mainly on Japanese food but still take influences from other countries in the continent.

What we say:

Coming from the founder of known-celebrity hotspot Panacea is Fable, a mythology inspired Japanese restaurant with some impressive visual design. The decorations take advantage of the giant halls of the Grade II-listed Manchester Hall that it calls its home and also don’t sacrifice some of the more traditional features, such as the walnut doors and panels. The lavish interiors are likely to attract famous clientele, much like its sister location, and fans of Asian culture and cuisine will find something to love here.
