An icon on the London pizza scene, sourdough specialists Franco Manca have brought their slices up north with their first ever Manchester restaurant. Located just off Piccadilly Gardens, the restaurant, which splits over two floors, serves up a stunning selection of pizzas, all centred around their slow-rising sourdough bases. From classic plain tomato and oregano options, to rotating chef specials that throw on everything from Cantabrian anchovies to green lentils and Yorkshire fennel sausage, their top-notch toppings can appease picky eaters alongside the more adventurous palates.

On top the signature slices, they can also rustle you up a selection of tasty salads, sides and indulgent desserts. As for the bar, they'll be serving up all you could ask for, from organic wines and house-brand beers to a mean Negroni.
