Oxford Street Bistro

Description

The Oxford Street Bistro is an eatery set inside Manchester's world famous Palace Theatre. Created by the team running the theatre, the venue makes sure that all its guests enjoy a delicious pre-theatre dinner, offering a menu of classic comfort food dishes and flavoursome desserts.

The restaurant sits on the first floor of the 125 year-old theatre. Accessible through the Stage Door bar, guests first walk up an brightly-coloured tiled staircase before being greeted by the main the dining area, which is simply decorated with lime green and violent coloured chairs that contrast brilliantly with the grey-scale walls and fine cornicing.

Hoping to appeal to a large cross-section of different diner, the menu is composed of crowd-pleasing dishes, including the likes of homemade pizzas, condiment-heavy burgers and fresh pastas. To ensure that no dinner misses the raising of the curtain, the delicious desserts - such a chocolate brownies and ice cream cakes - can be served during the play's interval. Pre-theatre dinner has never been so easy. The restaurant opens earlier on matinee days.
