Formerly The Violet Hour, Saison is the venture from the brains behind Dulcimer and The Deaf Institute, David Bell. 

The plot on Burton Road is right in the centre of Didsbury's growing food and drink scene, quickly establishing itself as one of independent fervour in Manchester. Bringing a wholly new concept to the table, Saison promises to be a beer centered wonderland of palatable plates and hops. So named to reflect their culinary philosophy and connotations of Belgian beer, Saison has crafted a menu of small plates revolving around market-fresh produce. 

The bar nurtures a handpicked selection of only the best world ales and lagers with 16 kegs, 4 casks and over 40 bottled beers to choose from. Some of the breweries you can expect to see stocked are Brooklyn, Weird Beard, Blackjack and Siren. This extensive stash should tide you hop-heads over and to cover all bases there's also a wine, spirit and cocktail menu to peruse.
