It's fair to say that this city has some pretty dreamy sky-high spots; from a cocktail haven at 23 floors through to a suntrap Spanish restaurant - but now there's a new opening that's threatening to take the crown.
Located in Deansgate, Blackfriars House is undergoing a £50 million renovation from office space creators Bruntwood. Along with a downstairs podcast studio and independent coffee shop, the rooftop will be getting a snazzy new look. Set to 360 views of Manchester, Rooftop at Blackfriars House aims to focus on wellness and creativity; how? Flower beds, greenery and an outdoor garden form part of the new space, along with a bar and restaurant.
There's also going to be areas for people to work and hold outdoor meetings, and to unwind, there's plans for rooftop yoga sessions and a pop-up cinema. Roll on summer 2020.
