MasterChef Simon Wood's first restaurant makes its home in Manchester's city centre. WOOD's un-fussy take on high dining is evident in his use of seasonal, fresh ingredients. Menus include a small plates bar menu, lunch, dinner and pre-theatre. The idea behind the place is to get stylish dining with a relaxed edge, giving modern dishes based on traditional flavours.
The decor also takes a cue from its namesake, with plenty of wooded, natural influences. In the name of un-fussy dining, WOOD also has an open theatre kitchen, a chef's table and a 16-seat private room, perfect for any occasion.
