Description
Launching on the former site of The Launderette on First Street, School For Scandal is a fun new all-day eatery that's bringing the comfort of home to a restaurant.
The 100-cover restaurant is mashing themes of British boarding school, New York cool, and the scandal of love with interiors that range from tattoo-style artwork on walls to wood panelling. There will also be an outdoor terrace along with a 'wheel of fortune'; a sharing cocktail that you could win free or end up paying doublevfor.
The sense of fun is also present on the menu, which caters for everyone, including school lunchboxes to take away and brunches over the weekend. Detention is the bars daily happy hour and sees their crafty selection of cocktails reduced to £5, including the likes of espresso martini and Aperol Spritz. School for Scandal has also come up with its own mixes, with drinks inspired by classic movies and desserts such as 'crullers' - a freshly baked pastry topped with sugar.
