Join us at Manchester’s first and only dedicated and official rum festival, featuring a whole-host of rums from across the world, cocktails and food to enjoy and live music in one of Manchester’s premier event spaces, New Century Hall!
Expect a rum-fuelled cocktail bar with resident DJ Dom setting the Soca and Reggae vibes all day long!*
General Admission price includes booking fee £27.50 per ticket + booking fee.
Ticket will be required for entry into the main festival. No vouchers for samples are required, all rums consumed from the exhibitors are a part of the ticket price.
*Drink and food offerings are NOT included within the price. 21+ only, ID will be required if deemed necessary. Last pours will be strictly 30 minutes 5:30pm before the end of the event. Last ticket entry is 4pm.

Innovation in the World’s Oldest Running Rum Distillery, with Lexi Davies, UK Brand Ambassador for Mount Gay. Lexi Davies – UK ambassador for Mount Gay will guide you through all the different ways that the oldest running rum distillery in the world approaches innovation & sustainability and how the past can advise the future. Guests will be able to taste the Single Estate expressions along with three Master Blender editions and some special treats not available anywhere outside the distillery. Scottish Rum with Dr. Kit Carruthers, owner and distiller at Ninefold Rum Distillery. Kit will be guiding you through a brief history of Scottish rum and talking about his own Scottish rum distillery. Yes, rum is made in Scotland! Kit will be pouring rums from a number of craft rum producers in Scotland, talking you through the Scottish rum landscape, as well as covering in more detail his own distillery history and production methods. This ticket offers you access to Manchester Rum Festival*, plus one seat at the exclusive Scottish Rum seminar, hosted by Ninefold Rum Owner Kit Carruthers. General Admirssion + The Floating Rum Shack Rum Ramble
Challenge Your Rum Senses with Peter Holland of The Floating Rum Shack. Join rum industry legend Peter Holland as he asks “how well do you know what you’re tasting?” A light-hearted exploration of some of the ‘pegs’ on which the Rum industry infers product quality, what do they mean, how do they taste, and would you recognise them when faced with a Rum in your glass? Blind tasting with a self marked test based on blind tasting a number of Rums in different categories. All fun – no prizes (except a sense of achievement, or perhaps even a little embarrassment – but don’t worry, we’re not judging you). Hopefully, you’ll leave with a healthy level of scepticism that will serve you well in your Rummy future! We will be tasting through new expressions of Wray & Nephew, Appleton Estate, it’s Hearts Collection and iconic cocktails. 1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight WFL Media Ltd and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
