Last night Veeno Wine Cafe just off Albert Square threw its much awaited launch party. The lucky few that arrived in time were treated to a complimentary glass of red, white or rose wine and the opportunity to try and taste some delicious Italian dishes the cafe will be serving from tonight onwards.

We, being the punctual and forever thirsty customers we are, arrived on time to enjoy delicious glass of red and were greeted with the smell of warm lasagne floating down past the christmas markets on Albert Square. The food and wine complimented each other brilliantly, and that was clear to be seen with the queue of punters gathering outside in the cold to grab a taste of the action.

The Italian wine cafe has stripped back decor with a homely finish, rustic barrels for tables, showcasing a real Tuscan appeal. Definitely one to try in the coming winter months for some hearty and wholesome Italian food and fine wines down on Albert Square.
