This Weekend in Manchester: Top 3

With Halloween parties left, right and centre, autumn in full-throttle and Christmas looming ever-closer, you will be forgiven for thinking there is too much to choose from this weekend. Luckily for you, DesignMyNight have selected three events this weekend that are sure to secure your attention from the rest.

Suede House of Pain Halloween Special

Saturday 2nd October, Suede Nightclub, 10pm 'til late

Dress to distress this Halloween on Saturday 2nd November from 10pm until the scary hours in the morning. For £5 before 11pm and £10 before midnight, you can expect ghoulish dancers, a cobwebby dancefloor and sick mixes of RnB, hip hop and 'haunted house' played by DJs Lemmi & Vinnie. Champagne and wine served in smoking cauldrons mean you can drink your very own intoxicating potion, and the best dressed will be given mysterious prizes!

Winter Street Food and Carols

Friday 1st November, Lock 91

Start the Christmas celebrations early this year by feeling the cheer at Lock 91’s Winter Street Food and Carols on Friday 1st November. Warm up those toes by the fire in the lounge room and indulge your belly with some winter warming festive foods with a North African and Turkish twist. Christmas carols will be sung, heralding the Christmas festivities as you treat your palate to Christmas pudding, (complete with brandy sauce), making you feel as though it’s already December. You can never start celebrating Christmas too early can you, eh?
